Amanda “The Lioness” Nunes, the greatest women’s fighter in the history of mixed martial arts defends her Featherweight belt against Felicia “Feenom” Spencer.
Nunes, who also holds the UFC Women’s Bantamweight belt, has only lost once in the UFC and is on a ten fight win streak. Spencer, who gave Cris Cyborg a tough fight in a loss last year, most recently finished Zarah Fairn Dos Santos in February.

Spencer rushes in early looking for a takedown and gets clipped by Nunes. Nunes with a hard right hand. Nunes with a nice combo. Good low kick for Nunes. Spencer looks for the takedown but Nunes steps across and throws Spender, scoring a takedown and directly into side control. Nunes with a knee to the body from top position. Hard elbow by Nunes in Spencer’s half-guard. More elbows from Nunes. More elbows from Nunes as Spencer is cut. Spencer recover full guard but suffers a big strike as the round ends

Nunes picks up the pace and lands a nice right hand over the top. Big right hand rocks Spencer, knocking out her mouthpiece. Nunes absolutely dominating. She ragdolls Spencer and throws her to the ground. Sharp combo by Nunes. Big head kick for the Lioness. Big right uppercut for Nunes. A hard low kick by Nunes and Spencer can barely stand on her front leg.

Huge right hand for Nunes snaps back Spencer’s head. Another big leg kick for Nunes. Lead elbow for Nunes lands. Spinning back kick to the body knocks Spencer back several feet. Nunes continues to land big shots as she dominates Spencer. A hard leg kick by Nunes appears to have Spencer close to the end. Nunes hammers Spencer with punches as the round winds down. Spencer has a huge hematoma on her forehead. The announcing crew suggests Spencer’s corner throw in the towel and it seems like a pretty good idea at this point. But you have to admire Spencer’s toughness if not her skill.

Big left from The Lioness. Nunes in top position and controlling Spencer. Big elbows and strikes by Nunes from top position. Nunes dominates the final round as Spencer, while displaying incredible toughness, does next to nothing offensively.
