The fourth Happenstance FGC league has kicked off! There are three live streams per week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 9:30 pm Central Time. Be sure to tune into Happenstance FGC’s Facebook page where all the action goes down here https://www.facebook.com/Chano20XX.

The league format is round robin play where all players play one another. Matches are contested first to 5. At the end of round robin play, the Top 8 tournament will be broadcast to determine the champion.

HS-Chano (5) defeats HN-TST|Uku (4)

The highlight match of the night featured League Director Chano in a drama filled and exciting affair. Be sure to check out this comeback victory on Twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/901610649. Uku got off to a strong start and took a 2-0 point lead. The third point started with Uku effectively using Bao, but Chano’s strong use of Takuma kept him within striking distance at 2-1. Uku was able to extend his lead to 3-1. But Chano was not finished as he stormed back to tie the match at 3-3. Uku once more took the lead and was within a point of taking the match at 4-3. However, Chano would not be denied as he won the last two matches to finish the exciting comeback!
