Enumclaw, WA native Chase “the Dream” Hooper is set to fight Saturday, October 29 at UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Allen. Hooper is the third fight scheduled on the Prelims which start at 1 pm PDT. Watch the fight on ESPN+.
In his most recent bout, a TKO victory over Felipe Colares, Hooper earned a Performance of the Night Bonus. Hooper’s record is 11-2-1 overall, with a UFC record of 3-2. Hooper has finished all three of his UFC victories, two by TKO and one by heel hook submission.
Hooper is an exciting featherweight prospect for several reasons. First, he is only 23 years old, one of the youngest fighters on the UFC’s roster. As a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Hopper brings elite jiu-jitsu skills. His rangy 6’1 frame also makes him tough to deal with as a featherweight. And Hooper, who entered the UFC with very basic striking skills, has been improving in this area as he has been training recently with karate black belt Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. Be sure to check out Hooper’s fight on Saturday on ESPN+.
