ATT Portland MMA star Ricky Simón headlines UFC Fight Night: Song vs Simón on Saturday night at 4 pm on ESPN+. Simón is an Oregon native who wrestled at Union High School in Vancouver, Washington. This is Simón’s first time headlining a UFC card.

Simón has won five fights in a row and has on overall UFC record of 8-2. His impressive UFC debut in 2018 ended with a guillotine submission victory over current #1 UFC bantamweight Merab Dvalishvili. Simón’s only UFC losses came in consecutive fights to top bantamweights Urijah Faber and Rob Font. Simón brings incredible athleticism and power to the cage along with his outstanding grappling.

Opposite Simón is Song Yadong, the Chinese star and Team Alpha Male product. Song always brings the fight and has impressive power of his own, so this one looks to be a fun fight. Song is looking to rebound from a TKO doctor’s stoppage loss to Corey Sandhagen last September.
