Austin “Duck Jitsu” Daffron’s recent run to claim the championship title in the 145 lb division at Sub Spectrum’s BJJ Summer Showdown included an incredible match against Caelan Hester of 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu – Omaha. One transition in particular during the match has resulted in a fair amount of notoriety. Daffron pulled off an incredible escape after Hester had Daffron in trouble by placing him in a “banana split” position.
