The co-main event features You Tube celebrity Jake Paul, who I am proud to say I had never heard of before this fight, against three-time NBA Slam Dunk champion Nate Robinson. Robinson, a Seattle area native, trained at local boxing gym Tenochtitlan Boxing Club for this fight.
Round 1
Robinson charging forward aggressive early as the fight starts with a lot more clinching than fighting. A right hand to the side of Robinson’s head sends him crashing to the mat. Robinson back to his feet on the count of 9 as he holds the back of his head. Clear round for Paul as Robinson looks nervous.
Round 2
Robinson cracked by Paul with a big overhand right hand mid-way through the round as Paul scores his second knockout of the fight. This joke of a fight is over shortly thereafter as Robinson gets cracked by another right hand and is seemingly knocked out cold.
After the fight, Paul claims his love for boxing and states that he wants to have a serious career boxing.
Official decision – KO by Paul – Round 2 (1:35)
